The Wangaratta 4x4 Club was founded in 1983 by a group of local enthusiasts who shared a passion for exploring the stunning Victorian High Country and surrounding regions.
Over nearly four decades, we've grown from a small group of mates into a thriving community, ranging from families on their first off-road adventure to seasoned expeditioners who've crossed Australia.
We're proud to be affiliated with Four Wheel Drive Victoria and are committed to safe, responsible, and environmentally conscious four-wheel driving.
Annual membership is open to anyone with a registered four-wheel drive vehicle. All makes and models welcome.
Annual fees: $100 family. Includes newsletter, member-only Facebook group, and access to our member-only trips.
No one gets left behind. We look out for each other on the track and off it.
We follow the Tread Lightly principles and participate in track maintenance days.
All runs are led by trained trip leaders. We carry recovery gear and first aid on every run.
Regular workshops on recovery, navigation, and vehicle preparation for all levels.
