Twelve vehicles, four days, and more creek crossings than we could count. The Dargo Road was in brilliant condition after a dry autumn and the High Plains delivered that trademark dramatic weather — sunshine one minute, snow flurries the next. A highlight reel trip for everyone who came along.
The autumn colours were absolutely stunning as 8 rigs made their way along the Ovens River tracks south of Bright. A relaxed, sociable run ideal for the new members who joined us — the highlight being an impromptu river crossing challenge that had everyone laughing.
A half-day scenic run through historic gold country. We linked up a series of fire trails and heritage tracks with plenty of stops to take in the countryside and share a BBQ lunch at the Yackandah showgrounds. A perfect introduction to club life.
Ringing in 2025 at altitude! A convoy of 10 vehicles made camp near Falls Creek for two nights. Perfect summer conditions, campfire conversations, and a spectacular firework sky above the plains — with the Milky Way putting on its own show as a bonus.
Spring in the Strathbogies is something special. We hit the ranges at peak wildflower season — the granite outcrops were alive with colour. A moderate track with some great optional lines for those wanting a challenge before the group lunch stop.
